New publications
New publications
The feed of publications in this reference. Each entry is prompted by the preparation or substantial update of a material. Every entry has a date, a short description, a note on why the material is useful, and topic tags you can use to filter the feed. We don't publish news about "algorithm updates", ranking forecasts or retellings of other people's guesses: search engines disclose how their systems work only in general terms, and we don't want to present assumptions as facts. If something important for site owners changes in a search engine's documentation or in an open standard, we update the relevant material and a new dated entry appears in the feed.
The feed is short because every entry is a real piece of content. We don't publish news for its own sake or repeat rumours about algorithm updates.
